Not disapointed!

I'd been searching all over the place for the Wii bundle. I called every store every morning for about 2 weeks. Then the Gamestop near my house said they got one, and I rushed to get it. I brought it home like a brand new baby and ripped into it like a kid on christmas morning. The drums where easier to assemble than Rockband and I could tell right away that they were durable! I also like the black rather than the white! The cymbals are kick ass as well as the kick pedal (I've had to replace my Rockband kick pedal) which is made of much stronger plastic and feels more solid when you press down on it. And the guitar? Gorgeous! Now I have a nice new one for myself and my old white one for my friends to use (LOL)
It has this nice little feature called the neck slider, sounds intriguing right? Well it is. It adds a lot of fun to the solos. The whammy bar and strum bar are elongated and it just feels more comfortable to use. No hand cramping!! So lets get down to the mechanics of the game. The core of the gameplay remains true to the traditional of previous Guitar Hero games. While loads of new features have been added which aren't too confusing ( I caught onto the editing modes rather quickly) the coolest features are the ability to create your own music, I spent an hour just messing with the drums!! World Tour also adds the new feature- Create a Rocker VERY IMPRESSIVE. If anyone is into The Sims, this has the same air to it. You can customize everything about your character, down to individual clothing items and the colors. There are hundreds of clothing and accesory options and loads of unlockables. you can comand your characters stage presence! What they do when they come on stage, when they win, and yes... when they lose. You can even customize your instruments pretty much to the same extent. (I didnt bother with my mic) The songs??? SIMPLY PUT: It's the most amazing setlist with the most unique and rocking songs imaginable. When a song comes on everyone around will instantly call out "Oh this song is the shit!!" You will probably want these songs on your ipod. And to end my review, it is my opinion that if anyone doubts the Wii version of WT they are sorely mistaken!

Rockin on the Wii

So the Wii gets some love it has deserved for all the features it's big brothers get on the PS3 and 360. So it doesn't have bleeding edge viduals. But this Guitar Hero package is one that is a must buy for all GH fans. All of the gameplay you would expect from a full band game, (and not gimped like rock band 1) you get to customize close to pretty much any damn thing you want to. Sure there might not be as much stuff as the other versions, but a lot for any Wii owner. I personally just picked up the guitar pack, so I can't comment on the drums. But I can honestly tell you it's a solid guitar hero game. The slider bar is fun, but its not life changing. I found myself just screwing around with it half the time then rather seriously using it. The song list is as diverse as you're gunna get, and the music studio is everything but line 6. But like every other version, the songs some out feeling like a ringtone rather than an all out song. I was personally grateful for all the online features and especially DLC. Sure, the internal memory might not handle much, but if you run out of space just save it to and SD. And the game reads right off it so don't worry about any transfer time in game. Mii free is fun using the wii-nunchuck on drums. But guitar is rather just boring for and expert player like me. The game gives you note cards to carry you along, but its all long held chord notes If there is a blazing solo your playing, your'e just playing it by holding down the yellow button. Overall I'm glad with this game, and expect to be playing it a long time. A must buy for any GH Wii owner.
