Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Description
Popular first-person shooter Call of Duty reinvents itself in the fourth installment of the series, and the results are sensational. The game abandons its WWII roots and adapts a modern setting. Using real-world weapons, Call of Duty 4 aims to take the FPS genre in a bold direction by bringing aesthetics as close to real-life as possible. Using a fictional international-conflict, the game is set in the Middle East and pulls from real life history to create an authentic story. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is considered the pinnacle of the Call of Duty series, partly thanks to its deep online play, and it's considered a must-play for any shooter fan. The next installment is Call of Duty: World at War, which reverts the setting back to WWII one final time. Infinity Ward is working on a new COD game for 2009, but details are top secret.
