Infinite Undiscovery, a good rpg.
For some reason, when I first started playing this game, I said to myself, this reminds me of Legend of Zelda. While the main character might not be as cool or popular as Link, it was the way the game looked that made me think that way. Wait a minute, I know what your thinking, but Legend of Zelda games have always been last gen, and the visuals on the Wii arent near as good as 360's visuals. True, Infinite Undiscovery does have amazing visuals, but it was the environments and items along the way that were simliar to that of a Zelda game. Especially treasure chest and what you find inside them. And the way you fight your enemies is very similar also. Its not a turned based system, rather its a lock on an enemy and use the A and B buttons to combo your way to a victory. It works very well and is very easy to use, even though some of the bosses you fight arent that easy. Story is the only thing that keeps me from giving this game a perfect score. You start off in prison, while your in your cell, a young girl breaks you out. So you escape from the prison only to find out that you look exactly like someone else, and the girl that sprung you made a mistake. Anyway, she tells you about the evil that has come across the land and you meet her "gang" and finally decide to join and help the good fight. Its not a bad story, but there arent many surprises, and you kind of know what to expect next. If your looking for a good rpg for your dollar, look here. It'll keep you entertained for a while.

Awesome, to my suprise!
I borrowed this game from my cousin, expecting it to be another next gen letdown to the RPG genre. It's actually quite fun. The story center around Capel, a young flute player who happens to look like a warrior named Sigmund. I won't reveal anything more about that. Anyways, the Dreadknight and his evil Order of the Chains, have chained up the moon and it is causing sickness and disease all over the world. Sigmund, the Liberator, is thought to be the only man to be able to break these chains, and Capel get mixed up with him, simply because they look alike.
Graphics: Nothing Special. Hardly takes advantage of thre 360, but is detailed and colorful enough to be pleasing to the eye.
Sound: The music is wonderful, as you'd expect from a Square Enix game. The voice acting is good too, but it's so annoying when half the cutscenes in the game don't use voiceovers and you have to read text instead while the characters move their mouths.
Gameplay: Battle system is very action oriented. You press all the attack buttons yourself like an action game. Your party members usually do their own thing, but you can set them up to act a certain way. Some battles you can have 12 people on your side fighting at once!
Overall: A solid RPG, worth checking out without a doubt!

Infinite huh?
Square Enix can't be accused of not being consistent. Like Final Fantasy, they give you a pretty fun game to play with corny cliches and an ending not hardly worth the effort. The visuals were awesome, and characters interesting, but the AI could have been better. There were not much surprises. You can take out a checklist and fill it out during gameplay...surpise princess? check. spell casting kiddies? you bet. Despite being able to guess the plot like an M Knite Shamilan movie, it does keep you entertained. It may not be the best RPG out there but it's not the worst.

invinite divided by zero
if failue had a name it was infinte indiscovery. The box looked cool so did the preview but then again so did speed racer. shure it maybe unfaboraly but hey if you gotta buy game from block buster, this would be a secondary choice. Pretty choppy stuff and only it was rich in what i felt it boasted, hey i would give 5 stars. But hey if you get this for free dont shun it, it wasa good try though.

Review:
Is Infinite Undiscovery the next great 360 RPG? Uh, not really.
Infinite Undiscovery had all of the ingredients for a potentially legendary role playing experience. Backed by world renowned publisher Square Enix and helmed by famed developer Tri-Ace of Star Ocean fame, the title has been garnering massive amounts of attention for its various claims of innovation, originality and forward thinking concepts. Unfortunately, the final product never instills anything but a "been there, done that" feeling with a mediocre effort that fails to please.
THE BOTTOM LINE: Oh, what could have been! An RPG with this kind of pedigree should have been something Xbox 360 owners could be proud of; instead, it disappoints and is yet more proof that the 360 needs more quality RPGs and fast. Keep your fingers crossed, 360 fans, that Final Fantasy XIII delivers the goods. -

Infinite Undiscovery's title may be misleading. It's not that you won't be discovering anything-just that there is so much to discover, you may not find it all, according to producer Hajime Kojima.
